Im no mathematician but wouldnt you figure if somebody was writing a time calculator program that they would
put in the program the midday and midnight factor like if you started work @ 8:15AM and stopped
work @ 3:15PM, for a total of 7 hours, not (8:15 - 3:15 = 5 hours) or (3:15 - 8:15 = -5 hours) maybe just an AM & PM
button might work, we can figure the rest.
